🧑‍🚀Life as an Apprentice

Apprentices are part of a cross-functional team across Research, Design, Product Strategy, and Development. While they're on a team, no apprentice is limited only to responsibilities within their role. You can take on design tasks as a researcher and research tasks as a developer on teams, because that's how Agile teams operate in the world (a team progressing on work). Each week teams hold sprint planning sessions to commit to work and plan efforts ahead.

As an apprentice you learn as part of a team under you leads. Typically there are up to 4 apprentices per role on project teams. Apprentices are empowered to take lead early and often throughout their time; unlike school, no one tells you all the answers but the team seeks to find the answers together.
